Red Cross Level 1
MUST be at least 46" tall and have completed Kindergarten to start Level 1. Participants will become comfortable in the water while learning basic swimming skills. Skills include: breath control, front and back floats, kicking, and basic paddle strokes. Safety topics include: knowing how to be safe in and around the water, knowing how to recognize a lifeguard, bobbing to safety, and how to properly wear a life jacket.
